Marquand Library of Art and Archaeology

Computers, Printing, Photocopying, Scanning, etc.

Computer Clusters and Printing

Computer clusters are located on every floor. Print jobs from computers on B level, A level, the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor can be sent to the two printers on A level. Directions are available on how to cancel print jobs directly from the printers.

OIT's New Media Center also offers color printing services. Customers must pay by check or student/departmental account. The New Media Center is located in room 101, 87 Prospect Avenue.

Color printing

Color printing costs $.75 per page. You must have a special color printing account set up with Firestone Library's Financial Services (B floor, room B-13-E), which is open 8:45 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Once you deposit money to this account, you may come back to Marquand and use the color printer.

Photocopiers and Scanners

Marquand Library has two black and white photocopiers, two scanning stations, and the only location on campus to have an overhead scanner/copier that allows digital scans that may be e-mailed or saved to a flash drive only (no printing capabilities). These machines should be used for Marquand materials only. Patrons must ask for permission to photocopy or scan materials at the front desk, as many books are too large or too fragile to copy. Patrons may use copy cards purchased at Firestone or Paw Points on their Princeton ID card. More information is available at the Photoservices web page.

Copystand

Marquand Library has a copystand on the 3rd Floor for use by Princeton affiliates only. Please inquire at the reference desk.

Digital Cameras

The use of personal digital cameras is now permitted in Marquand Library for study and educational images only. This does not grant permission to publish these images and all copyright regulations still apply.

Wireless

Marquand Library has wireless access to the internet throughout the building. Patrons may borrow wireless cards from the front desk. There are also Ethernet connections at all carrels and tables. They may be used by patrons registered with the Princeton University Network, or any student using a library laptop. Patrons may borrow ethernet cords from the front desk.

Laptops

Several laptop computers are available for student use within Marquand.
Read more about their availability and use.

Microforms

Marquand Library's microforms are located on the second floor, and may be viewed, printed or scanned on the reader/printer. Please ask at the front desk for assistance. More information on our microforms.
