Preceptors

Preceptors working with large classes, especially, should make every effort to schedule instruction/orientation sessions in advance, and determine with the faculty member what the students are expected to know about the library and research methodology. The Assistant Librarian can work with you to determine what sort of tour or library instruction is required, or assist you with offering instruction on using the library within Marquand. Sharing class syllabi and/or assignments are particularly appreciated and helpful in knowing what and when within the semester to introduce the library to the students.
